Rehabilitation bonds

A rehabilitation bond is the instrument lodged with government so the site can be rehabilitated if the operator does not. It is not the cost estimate. It is not the accounting provision. RehabLedger keeps the rehabilitation cost estimate, the regulator-assessed security, the lodged guarantee or cash, and the provision as four dated objects.

Banks need issuer, beneficiary, principal, expiry, and whether funds are restricted cash. Operators need to know what to lodge on which tool version. Regulators need the current official rates and the evidence. Consultants need line-level quantities. The engine answers a short interrogatory from the files you upload, then stops.
