Mine closure planning
Mine closure planning is the life-of-mine path to a safe, stable, non-polluting landform and an agreed post-mining land use. In Australia it is inseparable from the rehabilitation security the title holder must lodge. RehabLedger turns closure plans, quantities, and regulator tools into a dated cost and a security position — estimate, assessed deposit, lodged instrument, and accounts provision kept apart.
Operators of critical minerals, gold, rare earths, base metals, energy, and data-centre land all close something. The plan has to survive the regulator. The bond has to survive the bank. RehabLedger is the computation engine for that bond, not a substitute for your closure planner.
What the engine takes
PDF closure and rehabilitation reports, quantity spreadsheets, GIS packages, and AutoCAD layouts. Official NSW Rehabilitation Cost Estimation Tool versions, Queensland progressive rehabilitation and closure logic, and Commonwealth offset methods where the closure path includes an offset.
What you get
A short interrogatory (about twelve questions, fifteen at most), a versioned rehabilitation cost estimate where the tool allows it, and a security-position frame the operator, the surety, and the regulator can each read without collapsing the numbers. Remaining cost to complete is computed only when remaining work and current rates are in the pack; otherwise that figure stays unavailable.
